NOTICE TO BIDDERS
REQUEST FOR LAWN MOWING BIDS
Please take notice that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Wallkill Fire District are accepting bids for the mowing of the District's property (1) located at 112 Bona Ventura Avenue (across the street from the Wallkill Middle School), and (2) the drafting site next to the Wallkill Valley Federal Savings & Loan bank. In addition, weeding of the flower beds and weed whacking around other structures on the Fire District property must be completed at the same time mowing occurs.
Mowing must occur two (2) times per month and the selected bidder will submit a bill on a monthly basis, no later than the Friday preceding the regular monthly meeting which is held the second Monday of each month. The contract period will run from April 22, 2024 through October 31, 2024. Bidders must supply their own equipment and proof of insurance.
Bids must include email contact information, are to be placed in a sealed envelope marked "LAWN MOWING BID" and shall be mailed and addressed to Philip LaRocco, Secretary/Treasurer, Wallkill Fire District, P.O. Box 460, Wallkill, NY 12589. Bids must be received no later than Friday, April 19, 2024. Bids that are not mailed to the address above will be rejected.
The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise for same.
