While the remnants of Tropical Depression Ida were less severe in Ulster County than in many places further to the south, there is still a concern for flooding throughout the day Friday in some areas. There are also some locations, mostly concentrated in the southern part of the county, that are seeing road closures due to flooding from yWednesday’s storm

Shawangunk - Borden Road between Strawridge Road and Borden Circle - indefinite bridge closure.
Gardiner - The bridge over the Shawangunk Kill on McKinstry Road is closed to all traffic on further notice. Traffic may access all locations on McKinstry Road from either the Bruynswick Road or Albany Post Road sites.
Shawangunk - The bridge over the Shawangunk Kill on Hoagerburgh Road has a 3-ton weight limit restriction until the bridge is replaced.
