Town of Montgomery to host entrepreneurial success program

The Town of Montgomery is using some Covid relief funds to launch a program for residents interested in starting or growing their own business.

The 10-week program is being offered in collaboration with the Business Council of Greater Montgomery, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, and Town of Montgomery and with the help of nine volunteer business professionals.

The Entrepreneurial Success Program (ESP) is 20 session, held over a 10-week period on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m., starting September 8. Tuition is $399 (or $299 for anyone who registers by Sept. 1.

Town of Montgomery Supervisor Brian Maher said the program is completely funded through 2023.
The course will include creating a business plan and realistic business goals, marketing and advertising strategies to grow your business and how to properly create sales projections.

Town of Montgomery residents are eligible for full tuition reimbursement upon meeting course requirements. Participants will also receive a one-year membership to the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and the Business Council of Greater Montgomery.
