ichard L. Rose of Campbell Hall, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was 84.
The son of Calvin and Edith Illenberg Rose, he was born on January 13, 1938 in Burnside, NY. H Richard was a supervisor for the NYS Dept. of Transportation and an Air Force Veteran serving from 1956 to 1960. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #627 and past member of the Maybrook Fire Dept.
Survivors are his wife, Hazel Rose at home; son, William J. Rose of Rock Tavern; daughters: Lynn Rose of Campbell Hall and Sherry Young (Earl) of Maybrook; brother, Russell Rose (Margaret) of SC; grandchildren: Kyle, Erin, Kimberly, and Jessica; great grandchildren: Jaiden, Landon and Daisy; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cindy Lou Rose, brother, James Rose and sister, Blanche Judson.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 12th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home. Burial was in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maybrook Methodist Church.
