After a lengthy delay and recount, the results for the Village of Walden’s 2025 general election were announced around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18 at the village hall. Becky Pearson won the mayoral election, securing a two-year term; Cheryl Baker, Ralph Garrison Jr., and Lynn Thompson won the three open trustee seats, each securing a two-year term on the board. Garrison, an incumbent, was not on the ballot, but received enough write-in votes to reclaim his seat. Baker and Thompson previously served on the village board.
