Boy Scouts of America, Troop 236, sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2064, Commander Robert Beck, Maybrook, is proud to congratulate Haley Sullivan, Tyler Allen, and Gideon Reda at their Eagle Court of Honor at the Maybrook Senior Center.  This special achievement in their lives is scouting’s highest and most prestigious award, rank of Eagle Scout.

Boys Troop 236 and Girls Troop 236 Scoutmasters, Bill Giannico and Abby Williams, and Troop Committee Chairman Jim Barnett are proud to welcome the newest Eagle Scouts to their impressive list of Eagles.

Haley and Tyler are the 80th and 81st Eagle Scouts of Troop 236.  Gideon is the 82ndEagle Scout of Troop 236.  Special congratulations to Haley, who is also the first girl to earn the rank of Eagle Scout in this troop’s 37-year history.

Haley’s project involved painting 12 fire hydrants on Homestead Avenue in the Village of Maybrook.  Tyler’s project involved painting 12 Memorial benches in the Village of Maybrook. Gideon’s project involved painting a mural on the wall of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2064 Hall.  The mural depicted a soldier kneeling at a cross, with the phrase, “ALL GAVE SOME…SOME GAVE ALL,” beneath the depiction.
