Celebrate the 4th at two sites hallowed by the soldiers who won our independence. At New Windsor Cantonment, a military drill and cannon firing at 2 p.m., followed by a children’s musket drill. At 3 p.m., visitor assisted reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by another military demonstration. At Knox’s Headquarters house tours at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. & 4 p.m. and the firing of a small cannon at 1 p.m. & 4 p.m. 845-562-7141.
