Henry Rodriguez of Maybrook, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Newburgh. He was 59.
The son of Fernando Rodriguez and Monserrate Acosta Rodriguez, he was born March 28, 1963 in New York City.
Henry was an engineering tech for the VA Hospital, Montrose. He served in the United States Army and the United States Air Force.
He sacrificed his life, not only for his country, but also for his family. Family was the most important thing to him. His heart was full of love and his arms were always open, welcoming anyone.
Survivors include his wife Tina Rodriguez, son, Blake Rodriguez (Emily Rodriguez); daughters, Taishalee Lewis (Anthony Lewis), Jennifer Siguenza, (Ruben Pagan),and Regan VanDunk; grandchildren Xavier, Jenalis, Mia, Chace, Amellia, Avery, and Gemma; brother, Frank Rodriguez Sisters, Wanda, Maritza and Gisela
Nieces Crystal Maldonado, Melissa Montalvo, Emily Montalvo, and Samantha Sarmiento, Nephews Ricky Rodriguez ,Jason Rodriguez, Eric Sarmiento and Luis Rodriguez; sister In-laws Ann Siguenza and Clair Ward Brother In-law Tito Ortiz
Mother In-law Nellie Ortiz and his beloved dog, Nala Rodriguez.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Francisca Acosta and Grandfather,Jesus Acosta.
Burial and military honors was in Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
