Wallkill is busy again with warmer, spring like weather and events happening for everyone.

Thursday, March 9 - Vision of Wallkill monthly meeting, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Shawangunk Town Hall. Bring your ideas for the events that are in the planning stages and lend a helping hand at the event. We warmly welcome new members and would love to meet you.

Saturday, March 11 - back by popular demand, a second beading workshop will be held in the Community Room at the Shawangunk Town Hall, 1 - 3 p.m. There will be a presentation about Chakra and then a beading session specifically designed for you. The cost is $25 per person with materials and snacks provided. This workshop is for ages 14 and up. Please email dramapearl@aol.com or call Adrienne at 845-895-8712 to sign up or for more information.

Sunday, March 19 - The “Early Bird Sale” of Duck Derby tickets start. Look for the table on the library lawn during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and adopt a duck for the Duck Derby happening on May 13.

Saturday, April 15 - Clean Sweep - Join the Clean Sweep and Vision of Wallkill teams as they clean roads leading to and around the hamlet, and the Wallkill River. Organize a team to clean the roads in your neighborhood. Strong folks are needed to help clean the banks of the Wallkill River. Students, this is a great opportunity for community service.

Saturday, April 29 - Town Wide Yard Sale - This is your heads up to clean out garages, attics, drawers and boxes and get ready to sell your wares in your yard. For households in apartments, with small yards or perhaps in a more remote location, consider renting a space at Popp Park for your goods.
