Faith J. Marroon of Walden, passed away at the Taconic Nursing Home, Highland,on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.  She was 95. 

The daughter of Clifford and Mabel Hoyle Swinden, she was born on February 16, 1927 in Walden.   Faith was a life member, former Senior Warden, and choir member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.  She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Walden, former member of the Walden Woman’s Bowling League and traveled to state and national tournaments, and a member of the Middletown Concert Chorale.  

The family would like to thank Hospice and the staff at Taconic Ulster Rehab in Highland, Rev. Nicole Hanley, and Doug and Judy Gridley for their loving care and support.

Faith is survived by her sons: Scott Marroon and his partner, Michael Jordan of Canada, and Glenn Marroon of Harpersfield, NY; grandchildren: Heather, Russell, Debra, Crystal, Victoria and Killian, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, nieces and nephews, cousins, and her special friend, Judy Gridley.  She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd of 67 year, eldest son, Keith, brother, Herbert Swinden and sister, Elizabeth Clineman.

A visitation will be held from 6-9 pm on Friday, November 18that the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 19th at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Walden.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Marroon Memorial Fund, c/o St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 15 Walnut Street, Walden.
