Dennis C. Rickerd of Montgomery, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 4, 2022, at his home in Montgomery. He was 72.
The son of Carl Rickerd and Eleanor Kosnow Rickerd, he was born on August 5, 1950 in Detroit, MI.
Dennis served in the United States Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves and worked as a district service manager for the General Motors Corporation. Following his retirement, Dennis became a member of the American Legion Post 521 and served on the Board of Ethics for the Village of Montgomery.
Dennis was a loving husband, devoted father, and adoring grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Veronica, daughter, Jennifer Conklin & husband Kyle, Son, Jason Rickerd and wife Kaitlin, grandchildren Caroline, Audrey, Olivia and Austin, and sister, Diane Moore & husband Glenn of Rochester Hills, MI as well as one niece and several nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 4pm-7pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 10, at 11 am, at the funeral home.
