Colette Flanagan, of Wallkill, entered into rest on Friday, November 25th 2022. She was 81.
Daughter of the late Michael and Rachel (Milligan) Comer, she was born on November 6, 1941 in Belfast, Ireland.
Colette was formerly employed as an assistant fashion buyer for F.W. Woolworth, New York, NY and subsequently employed at Yellow Freight in Maybrook, NY. Colette enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing, playing the spoons and all things Irish. She was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa M. Flanagan of Wallkill and Katrine “Maureen” Flanagan of Slate Hill, NY; a sister, Rosemary P. Comer, Wallkill; three grandchildren; Kiera, Kassidy and Kaleigh; a grand nephew Jake Morrow; and many good friends and family in Ireland, as well as around the states.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Flanagan; a son, Paul J. Flanagan; a daughter, Anita R. Flanagan; a brother, Michael Comer, Jr., and a nephew, Michael Morrow.

Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
Plans for a Memorial Service will be announced by the family in the Spring, 2023.
