Barbara A. Mangione, a homemaker, of Montgomery, NY, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She was 88.
The daughter of the late Clarence and Corinne Martineau Hollis, she was born on October 27, 1932 in Rutland, VT. She was the widow of the late Vincent “Babe” Mangione.
Her husband, Babe, and her family were very important to her. She loved going to the casino and the lake house with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
Barbara is survived by her daughters: Ginny Mangione of Montgomery and Sandra Mangione Weller of Bloomingburg; sisters: Judy Carroll of Washingtonville and Marie Mills of Montgomery; grandchildren, Lindsay and Jay and great grandchildren: Savannah, Chase and Jett, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Jenna and sisters, Gertrude Amodio and Ruth Iacuniano.
Private funeral services were held on September 20th. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery.
