All Night Graduation Party needs support

“We have received a number of wonderful donations today,” said Andrea Tompkins about the bake sale held on Saturday on the sidewalk of the Valley Supreme Plaza. Tables were filled with sweet treats including cupcakes, cookies, and golden pastries. “A number of people have happily given us money but not that many wanted to partake in the baked goods,” she laughed.

Making donations and supporting a great cause is gluten free, dairy free, and has zero calories, after all.

The Pine Bush High School All Night Graduation Party (PBANG) is the local version of a nationally recognized annual event held on graduation night to honor, celebrate, and keep the newly honored alumni safe, substance free, as well as entertained. Many volunteers have served on the committee over the years and some long after their own children have graduated. Successful fundraisers are held throughout the year to sponsor all the fun activities stretching from late evening into the morning of the day after graduation.

Other popular fundraisers the community may be familiar with are the Cash Calendars which are only a $10 donation and available for sale at Hearts and Flowers Florist, Pineapple Day Spa, as well as from PBANG board and committee members.

“We are also very much looking for volunteers,” Tompkins smiled. “The best way for anyone who can or would like to get involved is to follow the group’s Facebook page – Pine Bush All Night Grad. Everyone is welcome to participate and help out this great cause.”
