In a recent mailing from the Orange County Republican Committee that intended to promote Patricia Maher for County Legislator, there were several claims of what Mike Anagnostakis is alleged to have done while serving Orange County.

One of which was to have initially supported the sale of Orange County owned Valley View Nursing Home, then changed his stance on such, to garner support for himself by defying The County Executive Ed Diana, and opposing the sale and transferring the residents at least eighty miles away.

This was an outright lie as at that time, my mother was a resident at Valley View, and right from the start, Mike met with us and opposed the sale.

I have come to know Mike over the past ten or so years, and know you can count on him to represent the needs of the communities he serves, and not the perks some politicians get for selling us out.

Think of the twenty million ($20,000,000) given to Amazon and Jeff Bezos. Money taken directly from the taxpayers of Montgomery. This too was opposed by Mike.

I suggest you plan to vote in the Republican Primary for County Legislator, and look closely at the record and accomplishments of Mike Anagnostakis and his challenger who is new to politics. We can no longer sit by and allow the perks of holding office outweigh the cost to we taxpayers.

We need representatives who place the need of the public ahead of themselves and what they might get for selling us out.

Vote Mike Anagnostakis. A proven record for the people.
