Town of Newburgh Police and Cronomer Valley Firefighters responded to a vehicle into a telephone pole on Union Ave in the area of Floral Drive on January 18. Firefighters assisted EMS in removing the subject from the vehicle. Town of Newburgh EMS requested the launch of a Medevac for driver. A landing Zone was set up at the Cronomer Valley Firehouse parking lot. Town of Newburgh EMS and Mobile Life ALS transported the unidentified occupant of the vehicle to the firehouse while awaiting the helicopter.
