Ulster is in desperate need of election workers

The Ulster County Board of Elections has made an urgent appeal to recruit election inspectors (poll workers) for the August 23 special election.

There are not enough people to run the polls right now, according to a release posted by the board of elections.

The county will pay for training and pay $15 per hour. The job is open to anyone who is a registered voter in Ulster County (or any young person ages 16-18 who is pre-registered to vote.
