The Town of Shawangunk Democrats (TOSD) are interested in hearing from Shawangunk residents who are considering running for local office and who would like to be endorsed by the TOSD in November 2021.

“If you are feeling like you are not experienced enough or knowledgeable enough to run for office, do not let that be a barrier. If you are a resident of Shawangunk who cares about having a voice in our community and are willing to make the commitment, then you are qualified. Your passion and community spirit is what is needed,” reads a statement released by the committee.

Open positions include: County Legislator (Ulster County District 13), Town Supervisor, Town Council (Two Seats), Highways Superintendent, Town Clerk, and Town Judge.
