Seed to Supper – Gardening on a Budget.

Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County in collaboration with the Newburgh Armory Unity Center will be offering a free three-part gardening series entitled Seed to Supper – Gardening on a Budget. Participants will learn how to plan, plant, and care for their garden as well has how to harvest and cook the vegetables that they grow. Classes will be held on Saturdays, May 21st, June 4th, and August 6th from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Participants must attend all classes and will receive seeds, plants, and a few gardening tools to get started!

 

This program will be held outside at the Newburg Armory Unity Center Community Garden located at 321 South William Street in Newburgh. Classes will be taught in English. Printed materials will be available in Spanish. Registration is required and is open to all residents of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District.
