The Pine Bush UFO Fair returns this year after its cancellation last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fair will kick off on Friday, Sept. 3 with tours of the Pine Bush UFO & Paranormal Museum located at 86 Main Street in Pine Bush. There will be 45-minute guided tours scheduled at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. According to the Pine Bush UFO Fair website, tours will likely sell out for this date. To purchase tickets in advance people can visit pinebushmuseum.com.

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 3, the Pine Bush First Fridays event will be taking place on Main Street and in the gazebo area in Pine Bush. The event will host outdoor live music and showcase local artists and artisans on the sidewalks.

Following the First Fridays event is an Area 52 paranormal space prom. The theme for the dance is ‘Across the Universe.’ Space and paranormal costumes are encouraged. There will be costume contests for the best, funniest, most original and best couple/group categories. Funny awards will be given to those who win a category. Attendees will be treated to DJ music, dancing, photo opportunities and snacks. The prom will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees should meet outside under the big tent located at the Pine Bush UFO & Paranormal Museum, 86 Main Street, Pine Bush. The suggested entrance donation at the door is $10 for individuals ages 16+ and $5 for children ages 5-15. All proceeds will support the Pine Bush UFO Fair event. When choosing footwear, attendees should bear in mind that the dancefloor is gravel.

A number of events will take place on Saturday at the gazebo on Main Street. Brendel’s Jazz Duo will perform live music at 11 a.m. followed by a live musical performance from Barry Mangione of Blue Alien Mystic at noon. Attendees will be treated to an interactive game show called “You bet your asteroid!” at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Phenomenon will perform live music at 1 p.m. before Mangione plays again at 2:30 p.m. The gazebo entertainment will conclude with a “Best in Galaxy!” beauty pageant at 3 p.m.

There will be several speakers Saturday at the tent located in front of the UFO museum. Bill Wiand will speak at 11 a.m. followed by Linda Zimmerman at 11:30 a.m. Lee Speigel will talk at noon followed by Marc Dantonio at 12:30 p.m. and Richard Dolan at 1 p.m. The Mufo Speakers will speak at 1:30 p.m. before Al Santariga and Bryan Bowden conclude the speakers event at 3 p.m.

The fair will conclude with a speaker conference at the UFO Museum on Saturday, Sept. 4. Check in and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 5:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. attendees will welcome the special guest emcee April Busset. She is a psychic medium and paranormal investigator.

After Busset, Lee Speigel will speak at 6:45 p.m. Speigel has presented credible, compelling stories about UFOs, science and the paranormal to the public since 1975, when he produced a documentary record album, “UFOs: The Credibility Factor,” for CBS Inc. Between 1978-1986, he produced, wrote and hosted nearly 1,500 local and national programs on NBC Radio, dealing with UFOs and unexplained phenomena. In 1978, Speigel became the only person in history to produce a milestone UFO presentation at the United Nations. Between 2010-2017, he was the chief Huffington Post writer of hundreds of stories crossing the fields of UFOs and science. In 2020, he co-produced/co-wrote “The Phenomenon,” a thought-provoking, critically acclaimed UFO documentary from Director James Fox. Speigel is currently co-producer, writer and host of “Edge of Reality Radio,” presented weekly over the KGRA Digital Broadcast Network and distributed by iHeart Radio.

Marc Dantonio will speak at 8 p.m. He is the Mutual UFO Network’s (MUFON) Chief Photo/Video Analyst and is CEO of FX Models, a company specializing in digital/physical models and organic special effects in the film industry. His degree is in astronomy and he specializes in the study of exoplanets. Dantonio can be seen on various networks and TV series discussing science and extraterrestrial life, or speaking at conferences around the country on the same topic. Currently he is creating remote UFO hunting systems with a team of top scientists to find all the answers. He is known for his work on Extraordinary: The Seeding (2019), Secret Space Escapes (2015) and The Proof is Out There (2021).

After a desert break at 9 p.m., Richard Dolan will give a presentation at 9:30 p.m. Dolan is one of the world’s leading researchers and writers on the subject of UFOs. He is the author of two volumes of UFOs and the National Security State, co-authored a speculative book about the future, A.D. After Disclosure, the first-ever analysis not only of how UFO secrecy might end, but of the all-important question: what happens next? Dolan hosts a weekly radio show, The Richard Dolan Show, on KGRA radio and is a frequent guest on Coast-to-Coast AM. He is currently featured on several television series and documentaries, including Ancient Aliens, Hangar One: The UFO Files and Close Encounters. In addition to his research, Dolan’s company, Richard Dolan Press, actively publishes innovative books by authors from around the world.

Each ticket for the speaker conference costs $45. Tickets can be purchased at pinebushmuseum.com.

Domanie Ragni, director of community services for the Town of Crawford, is overjoyed for this year’s UFO Fair.

“We’re very excited about it,” she said. “The input that we’ve been receiving from everybody and anybody is that they cannot wait to come and celebrate.”
