Newburgh Fire Department seeks new ladder truck

Newburgh City Council approved the construction and delivery of a 105 foot ladder truck in the amount of $1,249,000.00 for the City of Newburgh Fire Department.

According to Fire Chief Francis Spinelli, the funding for this purchase was available from a Dormitory Authority of the State of New York [DASNY] grant that was secured by the late Senator William Larkin and then resecured by Senator James Skoufis. The city fire department is currently awaiting two fire engines to be delivered. Spinelli anticipates their arrival to the fire department by September.
