Neuhaus announces the OC Think Differently County Survey

Survey results to help steer programs and initiatives of the OCTD Committee

Posted

In 2019, “Orange County Think Differently” (OCTD) was launched with the intent to include individuals, businesses, organizations, and communities to improve how we relate to our neighbors with different needs and abilities. While the OCTD committee has been meeting since the launch, the opportunity to create programs and activities has been limited due to the continued impact of COVID. However, the commitment to its core mission has remained strong.

“The OCTD call to action seeks to expand opportunities for people of all abilities to be comfortable participating in events across our community, to feel welcomed at restaurants and businesses, and to feel valued as residents and contributing members of the community”, Neuhaus said. “This survey will help the OCTD Committee to better understand needs and where there are deficiencies; and will also help them to focus their efforts. We know that by engaging people of all abilities, along with their families and our community partners, we can create more opportunities to be inclusive of all.”
