If you’re interested in what revitalization plans for Main Street are in the works, make time to stop by a 5:30 p.m. meeting in the Highland Falls Intermediate School auditorium this Friday, August 16. That evening, Mayor Joe D’Onofrio said, there will be a presentation by representatives of West Point Association of Graduates Hudson Valley Program, with an update from developer Rick Minicozzi about the properties he owns on Main Street.
There will be time for questions and answers from the public – about half an hour is slotted for that – and the mayor may offer an update about proposed zoning changes in Highland Falls.
D’Onofrio said he has invited members of the Village and Town Board, the Consolidated Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals to the session. “Concerned citizens are welcome,” the mayor said, noting that the doors will open at 5 p.m.
