The Town of Lloyd has posted regular updates on the town’s website on the progress of the construction work that is being done along Tillson Avenue. This roadwork is part of an overall upgrade that will culminate in the creation of a T shaped intersection with Vineyard Avenue and Toc Drive.
On November 4 the town’s website stated that: “Walls continue to be erected and will continue. Two large trees were taken down by a tree service. The plan for next week is to have the walls continue and possibly address some drainage issues. The one way configuration from Route 9W to Vineyard Avenue will continue.
Two weeks later, on November 18, the website noted that, “This week the contractor placed drainage pipe and structures that included some temporary connections with the existing system. The old fire hydrant was also removed. The asphalt placed today over the pipe and structure work as well as the driveways is temporary for the winter. Work will now resume on the walls for as long as weather permits. Once work is shut down, Tillson Avenue will return to a two-way configuration.”
