Lane closure planned for Interstate 84 in Dutchess County

Posted

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect one lane to close along Interstate 84 eastbound between Exit 44 (Route 52) in the Town of Fishkill and Exit 46 (Route 9) in the Town of East Fishkill, on Tuesday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 15, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., to accommodate bridge maintenance, weather permitting.

Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
