Hike with a Naturalist – Research at Mohonk Preserve

Posted

Every third Thursday of the month join Mohonk Preserve staff on a slow-paced hike exploring the natural wonders of the Shawangunk Ridge. Each month will focus on a different seasonal theme. Have you seen signs or tags indicating research around the Preserve and are curious what we're researching? Join Mohonk Preserve Community Science Coordinator Penny Adler-Colvin for a walk and talk focusing on research projects occurring at the Testimonial Gateway. Research projects to be discussed include phenology, invasive species, and grasslands/pollinators. This is a free program for all ages. Registration is required and children must always be accompanied by an adult. This program will be 100% outdoors. Masks are optional.
