Join the Processional Arts Workshop and Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival for the second annual Highland Lights, a community celebration of art and nature on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, at 7:00 PM. The event will feature a spectacular outdoor procession of lights and community-built lanterns, coupled with storytelling and refreshments. Highland Lights invites neighbors to create collaborative works during free public lantern-making workshops leading up to the event from April 1 to April 16. Participants will work collaboratively to create their lanterns, incorporating techniques like wire-forming, decoupage, and illumination using LED lighting.
