Francis A. Minutolo, of Huntersville, NC, formerly of Highland, entered into rest on Monday, September 9, 2024. He was 84.
Son of the late Michael P. and Grace Scotto-Lavino Minutolo, he was born September 27, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY where he was also raised.
“Frank” as he was known to family and friends was a retired planner with IBM, East Fishkill, NY. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He volunteered his time serving the Town of Newburgh Little League. He was a parishioner of St. Mark Catholic Church, Huntersville, NC. Frank loved Italian food and baseball, and was a huge Brooklyn Dodgers fan. He was a collector of model trains and baseball cards. He enjoyed classic cars, playing Bingo, and being outdoors.
Survivors include a son, Michael A. (Rene Hager) Minutolo of Wallkill, NY; four daughters, Anne-Marie Minutolo of Highland, NY, Carolyn Henry of New Windsor, NY, Kathleen (Todd) Skelly of Huntersville, NC, and Mary-Grace DeCoeur of Walden, NY; a son-in-law Guy Suchy; ten grandchildren, Erika, Brian, Rebecca, Niki, Zachary, Anthony, Marcus, Christopher, Brent and Cooper; two great grandchildren, Harper Leigh and Carsyn Genevieve; and a brother Louis (Lillian) Minutolo.
Preceding him in death are his wife Elizabeth Minutolo, daughter Genevieve Suchy, and sister Rosemarie Minutolo.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10am, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at St. Augustine Parish, 55 Main Street, Highland,, with Fr. Charles Arkorful officiating.
Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Garden Mausoleum, Rt. 9W, Newburgh.
