The Fort Montgomery Fire Department responded to five motor vehicle accidents without injuries and one with injuries during the month of August, Chief Ryan Falk has reported to his Board of Fire Commissioners. In all, the department had 14 calls in August.
The others included: three automatic alarms, one brush fire, one case of wires down, and three mutual aid calls. Responding to calls took a total of four hours and 26 minutes. Department members also trained together for nearly 30 hours.
