Join Jane Dobson, Mindful Nature Guide, in the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing. Introduced in the 1980s, Forest Bathing began as a preventative healthcare practice to counter the daily stress of everyday life. Even after small periods of time in a natural environment, we experience real and measurable physical and mental health benefits including reduced levels of the stress hormone cortisol, improved mood and focus. Join us as we move mindfully through a forested landscape actively engaging our senses and opening ourselves to the awe and beauty of the present moment. This program will be 100% outdoors and masks are required. Ages 16 and up welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs allowed. Wear layers and proper footwear. Registration is required and limited to 10. The cost per person for Mohonk Preserve members: $20/session, $55/series. The cost for non-members: $23/session, $62/series.
