Easter Bunny pays a drive-in visit to PB

The Town of Crawford Police Benevolent Association (PBA) held a drive-thru Easter event on Saturday, March 27 at the Pine Bush High School. Drivers were directed through the parking lot to a station where volunteers, including community members, PBA members, and police officers distributed bags filled with candy treats. Five lucky winners received a golden egg which could be redeemed for a basket with special items including gift certificates and other donations.

Seargent Michael Matarazza was on site and said, “We felt we should do something and lift the community spirits. Our Halloween drive-thru event was a success and so we thought this would be a great idea. The Crispell Honor Society helped by stuffing the 500 bags, and we also had help from the Town Board, the Crawford Police Department and of course, our PBA.”
The Easter Bunny happily waved to everyone who stayed safely in their vehicles and wished all a Happy Easter.

Across the street at the police station parking lot, PBA members and supporters were selling long and short sleeve shirts to helps raise funds for future PBA events.
