The Downtown District Alliance is bringing the magic of the holiday season to the heart of Newburgh with the inaugural Newburgh Frost Fest. The free event will take place on the first three Saturdays in December, featuring workshops, unique shopping experiences, and community festivities.
The Frost Fest offers more than 20 free events, including a pop-up Christmas tree sale and a giveaway of 30 trees for local families, sponsored by Council Member Patty Sofokles. Other highlights include “Winter Windows,” a series of storefront displays created by local artists and students, outdoor screenings of classic holiday films at the new Cinemabox installation, and a kinetic art exhibit by Steve Gerberich at the ADS Warehouse, which will remain open through January.
