Newburgh City Council approved the resolution at the regular meeting on Monday, May 23 authorizing the city manager to execute an agreement with Alex Healy Studios for professional photography services in the amount of $2,000.

Councilwoman Giselle Martinez did not vote in favor of the motion, commenting that the money could be used for other purposes. Councilwoman Patricia Sofokles was absent.

Alex Healy Studio, located along the waterfront in the City of Newburgh, was chosen through a selection process by the city and will be serviced to capture headshots for each department head or director along with the city council members. These professional photos will then be posted on the city website.
