The Newburgh City Council approved a resolution to implement a City-wide curfew for minors 16 years of age and under on October 30 and 31 from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

The curfew will be effective from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. each day, starting at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2022, and ending at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Exceptions to the curfew may be made for minors accompanied by a parent or guardian, those engaged in employment, or those involved in an emergency.

Parents are urged to inform their children of the curfew and to supervise its implementation to promote the safety, health and welfare of our City’s young people and property owners.
