Rocco Cicero Jr., 46, of Middletown, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 7, 2023. 

Rocco is a man who is larger than life, always had everyone around him laughing and smiling, constantly being the center of attention. Rocco is the fierce protector of his ladies in his life. Rocco is a very well respected police officer for over 20 years. Rocco had a great passion for the chips, who is always down for a ride to the casino at any time. He loved watching the ponies run at any harness track. Rocco loves the NY Yankees but loathes Boston. He has been an avid wrestling fan since he was just a child, always trying arm bar, RKO, or super kick anyone he could find. Family truly meant everything to Rocco, he is a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a cousin, a nephew, an uncle and a true friend to so many.

Rocco is survived by his wife Cathy Cicero and three beautiful daughters, DeAngela Brackman, Emily Cicero and Rosalee Cicero, his parents, Velda and Rocco Cicero Sr., his sister and brother in law, Felicia and DJ Rosenblum, his niece Angelina Cicero and her fiancé Brian Ruperti, his niece Mylah Rosenblum and his only nephew Nathaniel Rosenblum. His inlaws Carmen and Hector Lanzo, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends who became family to Rocco.

Rocco is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Nancy and Dale Vogt, and paternal grandparents Felicia and Mario Cicero, and his brother in law Little Hector Lanzo Jr.

Services were held at William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc., Pine Bush, on Saturday, October 14. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
