Preston “Mickey” Palazzo passed away on November 24, 2022, at Vassar Hospital.
He was born March 9, 1943, in Clintondale, to Guido and Jean Palazzo. He is survived by his wife Mary (nee Corallo) Palazzo. They were married on July 18, 1971 and spent 51 very happy years together. They were blessed by their three sons; Thomas, Michael and John, their wonderful grandchildren; Preston, Austin, Zachary, Priscilla, Ruby and Joseph and two new bonus grand-girls Addison and Winter. He is also survived by his sister Geri Sabarese and brother Carl Palazzo. He loved his extended family, many wonderful cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was a proud member of the Clintondale Fire Department for 60 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, gardener, cook, collector of antiques and railroad memorabilia. He loved us all very much and was our go-to guy for everything. He will be so greatly missed and loved forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Clintondale Fire Department or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
