Last Thursday, just after noon, President Joseph R. Biden passed through the Town of Lloyd on his way to tour the IBM plant in Poughkeepsie. He met with IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna after the company announced a $20 billion investment across the Hudson Valley in the next decade. IBM plans to increase its production of semiconductors and develop advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
