Phyllis passed away at home with her family by her side. She was born April 9, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel Staples Cosman. Phyllis was born, lived the duration of her life, and passed in the same home in Marlboro. She graduated from Marlboro High School and Mount Saint Mary College.
She was married to the love of her life, Nelson Dina for 66 years until his passing on September 10, 2017.
Phyllis is survived by her son Edward, his fiance’ Kymbra and her children Edward and Kaydee, and her son Geoffrey and his wife Karen, grandchildren Matthew Dina and his wife Melanie, Lisa and her husband Robert DeMarco, and Kimberly and her husband Tim Hawley, and her great-grandchildren Kaylee and Zachary Dina, Jackson and Brayden DeMarco, Charlotte and Bennett Hawley, and Dustin and Devin Stanford, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sisters Millicent Trautman and Joan Troncillito, and brothers Donald Cosman and Calvin Cosman.
Phyllis was employed by Marlboro Central School District and was Secretary-Treasurer of the family business. However, her greatest role of all was that of matriarch of the Dina family, lovingly caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She requested that there be no visitation and the entombment be private at the convenience of the family.
