The Town of Marlborough Recreation Committee will host its inaugural Christmas Festival and Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7, promising a festive evening of family-friendly activities, food, and holiday spirit.

The celebration begins at 4 p.m. at Cluett Schantz Memorial Park, featuring kids’ activities, ornament-making, reindeer food crafts, painting stations, and more. Vendors are encouraged to join in offering holiday crafts and activities. Food trucks and hot cocoa will be available, along with caroling to spread holiday cheer.

The Christmas Parade will line up on North Road at 4:30 p.m., with the procession kicking off at 5:30 p.m. and following the same route as the town’s Memorial Day Parade. The parade will conclude at Cluett Schantz Memorial Park, where the evening will culminate with a 6:30 p.m. tree lighting ceremony and a special visit from Santa.
