Maureen J. Leibmann of Orange Lake, NY, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, in Newburgh. She was 86.
She left this world peacefully, surrounded by family, having lived a long and happy life. She took great joy in a cup of tea on her porch, watching the sun glimmer on Orange Lake, in the home that she loved. She had an infectious laugh, and laughed hardest when she was the butt of the joke. She handled her struggles with grace, and relied on her faith to carry her forward, one day at a time. She loved her husband, and longed to be reunited with him in heaven. She has waited patiently for that time, she is at peace, and is finally on her way. We will miss her, and she will be carried in our hearts every day until we meet her again.
