Luis Cruz, of Plattekill, entered into rest on June 3, 2021. He was 59.
Son of Ramonita (Rodriguez) Cruz and the late Liborio Cruz, he was born on November 21, 1961 in Bronx, NY.
A longtime Plattekill resident, Luis was a manager of Supplier Diversity for Mass Mutual, Springfield, MA. He was a member of the Crossroads Assembly of God Church and was an avid Mets, Jets and Knicks fan. A devoted family man he married the love of his life, Carmen, 33 years ago and cherished his time with his two sons.
He is survived by his mother, of New Paltz; his wife Carmen of Plattekill; two sons, The Rev. Dr. Timothy Cruz of Leominster, MA and Nicolas Cruz of Plattekill, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550.
A Funeral Service will follow at 7 pm at the Funeral Home with Luis’s son, The Rev. Dr. Timothy Cruz officiating.
