Kyle VanDuser, 29, of Wallkill, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 11, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh.
Born September 19, 1993, in Kingston, New York, he is the son of Kirk and Sharon (Castellana) VanDuser.
Kyle played a key role in the family business, VanDuser Concrete Foundations based in Wallkill. In addition to his passion for concrete work, he was an accomplished Race car Driver; winning championships in both Slingshots and Sportsman divisions along with multiple victories in the Modified division. He also enjoyed time with his friends and brother, kayaking and hiking. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with the love of his life Christina Considine.
Survivors include his parents, Kirk and Sharon VanDuser of Wallkill, NY; his brother, Chris VanDuser of Wallkill, NY; his grandparents, Greg and Donna VanDuser of Wallkill, NY; Aunt Katie Rubin, Uncle Brian VanDuser Aunt Carol VanDuser and their daughter Jillian VanDuser of Wallkill, NY; Aunt Nan and Uncle Al Gruner of Hurley, NY. Uncle Darryl and Aunt Marianne Castellana; Aunt Lisa Castellana; Uncle Greg Castellana; Aunt Marcia Castellana; Aunt Diane Stowell of New Paltz NY; Aunt Judy and Uncle Jacque Donavon of Red Hook NY. Uncle Doug and Aunt Donna Castellana of Wallkill, NY. Cousins: Kevin Castellana, Mathew Castellana, Katie Hill, Connor and Vaughn Donavon, Rachel and Sarah Stowell, Ashley, Christine, Michael, and Kylie Castellana.
Friends may call on Thursday May 18, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Copeland-Hammerl Funeral Home, 162 S. Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the next day, Friday May 19, 2023, starting at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Route 44/55, Gardiner, New York officiated by Father Matthew Yatkauskas.
The Rite of Committal will immediately follow at St. Charles Cemetery across the street from the church.
