Kevin Rodgers Rohrbach, a long-time resident of Milton, NY entered into eternal rest while at home with loving family and friends at his side on February 19th. He was 74 years old.

Kevin retired after 20 years from the public works division of the US Naval Academy where he used his architectural skills to design and restore buildings on campus in Annapolis, Maryland. He enjoyed his work there and made many good friends. Many of his friends shared the same sentiment about Kevin. "Simply, he was one of those really good guys; he was bright, kind, a leader, and never said a bad thing about anyone." His friends from his high school lacrosse team shared that "While he was not an 'outstanding' athelete he held his own on an undefeated lacrosse team. He was the comsummate team player."

He is survived by his wife Donna Martuscello, his sister Deborah Fox Peters, his sister-in-laws Nancy Rohrbach and Sally Rohrbach, and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother, father, and his brothers Bart and Rick.

Kevin explored many interests over the course of his life. A long-time love of his was reading. One of his favorite series was the Nero Wolfe series written by Rex Stout along with his newest interest being the Cork O'Connor series by William Kent Krueger. Kevin enjoyed relaxing by watching Perry Mason episodes. He was an avid University of Maryland football fan and his baseball team was the Baltimore Orioles. He was a self-taught ukelele player learning many of his favorite tunes. Due to his handicap, he was a world traveler via the internet. Kevin enjoyed researching different European places, Paris being one of his favorites. He traveled along at home during Donna's family trips to Italy which stirred his interest to take Italian lessons via Duolingo. He enjoyed a taste of Italy on Sundays while enjoying his mother-in-law's (Betty's) famous tomato sauce and pasta. While living in Maryland, he and Donna enjoyed many excursions birding at nearby wildlife sanctuaries. Bird watching continued to be a favorite past time of Kevin's. Kevin found such a joy in our pets: Magee, Darcy, Riley, and Missy too. While enjoying the outdoors, they looked forward to sitting in his lap and soaking in the sun. He adored his nieces and nephews and always took pleasure in their visits, catching up on their latest happenings.

He will be forever loved and missed by all that knew him. Please read a book or walk your dog in memory of Kevin. Donations in Kevin's memory can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital at stjude.org or the Regional Food Bank Hudson Valley located at 580 NY-416, Montgomery, NY 12549.
