June Elsie Jennison, 93, peacefully passed away on February 25, 2025 at home. June was born on May 21, 1931 in Holden, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Lucius Colton Shepard and Elsie Lundeen Lombard.
June graduated from Walden High School in 1948 and went on to attend and graduate from Albany Business College in 1950 where she met and ultimately married her husband, Edwin David Jennison, and were married for 55 years.
June was a stay-at-home mom where she raised three sons. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cross stitch, many of which she decorated her home with.
June was predeceased by her husband, Edwin David Jennison, Sr, her son, Edwin David Jennison, Jr and her brother, David Frank Gross.
June was a 70 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary 124, Marlboro, 50-year member of the Milton-on-Hudson Grange, New York Postmaster Auxiliary, member of the Marlboro Seniors, a Cub Scout & Brownie Leader. She enjoyed her time with Home Arts Association that was formed with friends where they shared crafts and recipes for years. She taught Communion Class at Saint James for 16 years. She was also a member of the St James Parish Altar &
Rosary Society. She worked with her husband, Edwin doing income taxes and books.

Grandchildren; Christine Jennison-Behrman and her husband Nick
Behrman of Richmond, VA; Edwin David Jennison III and his wife Lisa of Richmond, VA; Stephen E Jennison, Jr and his wife Andrea of Hopewell Junction, NY; Adam Jennison and his wife, Mary of Newburgh, NY; Christopher N. Jennison and his wife Jessica of Manchester, NH; Rachel Jennison of Greenfield, MA; Joshua Jennison and his wife Danielle of Milton, NY; Alisa Mackey and her husband Nick of Fountain, CO and Matthew Jennison of Milton and four Great grandchildren; Noah, Charlotte, Willow & Grace and several Great Nephews/nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.
A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday morning at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.
