Joshua, a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 19 2023. He was 29 years old.
The son of Donald and Patricia (Noe) Van Leuven, Joshua was born on June 6, 1994 in Newburgh, New York. Joshua went to school in the Pine Bush Central School District and at Alfred University where he learned the skill of welding. He worked in construction all his life and recently worked with Project Properties in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Joshua loved fishing, and was an avid sportsman. He had a devilish laugh and a great sense of humor. Josh was a jack of all trades, and most of all was a good friend to those he met throughout his life. He leaves behind: two amazing young boys, Jude Leland Van Leuven and Roman Elliot Van Leuven, who loved their father unconditionally; Two younger brothers, Zachary Ryan Van Leuven and Jerimiah Christopher Van Leuven both of Pine Bush whose memories of him will always live on; his maternal grandmother Bernadette Noe who will always hold him close to her heart; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and family who will always treasure the good times with him. Joshua was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Stewart F. Noe, and his paternal grandmother Mary Jane Storms.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 15, from 3 - 7 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday December 16, at 10:30 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 42 Walnut Street, Walden. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, 304 Walsh Avenue, New Windsor.
