I met Greg McCue in September at the Saturday Night Cruise in Highland hosted by the Dutchess Cruisers Car Club. Greg McCue, a retired Yonkers’s Police Department Detective Sergeant has owned his 1972 Plymouth Duster since 2009.

Greg told me that he enjoys going to car shows and meeting other car folks and supporting charitable events. His car has a 340 cubic inch V8 engine that sports 240 horsepower. It has a white interior, and the exterior color is called “Richard Petty Blue” named after the fame Nascar Legend, Richard Petty, and his iconic color of his race car. The car has a four-speed transmission with factory am/fm radio. Greg told me that he basically purchased his car as is with some minor restoration. The car is originally from North Carolina.

I asked Greg what his best and worst moments with his Duster was. He said that his best times with his car is every time he goes to a car event and gets a chance to be with friends. Greg advised me that his worst moments with his car was when his car wouldn’t start after a car show. Greg’s favorite music to cruise with is his Oldie’s music.

Greg also owns a 1972 Roadrunner four speed with a 440 engine and a 1969 Dodge Dart. His dream car is a 1970 Z28 Chevy Camaro.
