Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack is pleased to announce that on Saturday, July 17, Stephen Blauweiss of Blauweiss Media will present “The Story of Historic Kingston” book preview and mini-exhibit at the Matthewis Persen House Museum located at 74 John Street in uptown Kingston, at the corner of John and Crown Streets. Admission is free and all are welcome.

On Saturday, July 17 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, join Stephen Blauweiss, award-winning independent filmmaker, as he shares a full-color draft of his upcoming 450-page book, with co-author Karen Berelowitz, about historic Kingston and Ulster County. The book has 850 images and will be available for preview and discussion with the authors. Also, there will be select interpretive displays from their “History of Uptown Kingston” gallery shown with many additional rare photographs.

“We are happy to have Stephen Blauweiss at the Persen House several times this season,” said Postupack. “His unique historical perspective gives visitors an otherwise unseen look at our local history.”
