The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan (CFOS) recently welcomed Megan Matthews as its new Director of Development.
Matthews enhances the overall fund development and fundraising efforts of the Foundation. Her responsibilities include donor cultivation and solicitation, relationship building with professional advisors and spearheading a planned giving program to grow current and future assets.

“We are thrilled to have Megan as the most recent addition to our already strong team,” said Elizabeth Rowley, CFOS President and CEO. “She brings a keen understanding of the value of relationships to the role and will excel in the cultivation and strengthening of ties with new and existing community partners and donors.”

Megan formerly held the title of Chief Operating Officer at the Orange County Partnership. She brings 17 years of experience in sales, marketing, management, and event planning experience to the role.

Megan earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from Susquehanna University and is a 2022 Leadership Orange graduate.

Megan has traveled extensively, and lived for a time in Sydney, Australia. She currently resides in the town of Goshen with her husband and two children.

Former Director of Development and Communications Nicole Feller Lee now serves in the role of Communications and Creative Consultant acting as the wordsmith and creative vision behind the Foundation’s annual report, Giving Matters newsletters, and informational videos as well as other branding and external communications.
