Albert “ Bill” Wilklow passed away February 28 th at home. The son of the late Albert and Mildred Babcock Wilklow, he was born on July 8, 1931 in Poughkeepsie. “Bill” was a graduate of Highland High School and SUNY Delhi. On November 15, 1953, he married Joyce Francisco who predeceased him in 2018.
Bill was a 60 year member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church, Highland, member of the Adonai Masonic Lodge #718, on the board of Ulster County Soil and Water Conservation District, Ulster County Farm Bureau Board, member of the DEC Region 3 Fish and Wildlife Advisory Board and member of the Paltz Club.
Survivors include his children: Cheryl (Philip) Benoit, Fred (Sharon) Wilklow, Bonnie Sue W. Joyner and Frank (Angela) Wilklow. He was Papa to his grandchildren: Christy, Albert (Kortney), Jennie (James), Becky, Joy (Russell), Dawn, Chester (Trine), Holly (Dan), Timothy (Nicolette), Carlos, Atticus (Rachel), Jax, Marigny, and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: James (Carolyn) Wilklow, Robert Wilklow, Gerald Wilklow, and Barbara Quinn as well as sister-in-law Alma Georgia and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons-in-law Chester Elliott and Steven Joyner.

Calling hours will be Sunday, March 3rd from 2 - 6 p.m., at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 38 Main Street, Highland.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 4th, at the First Presbyterian Church, Highland, followed by burial in Lloyd Cemetery.
