Marie C. Mills, a homemaker, of Montgomery, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. She was 88.
The daughter of the late Clarence and Corinne Martineau Hollis, she was born on October 25, 1934 in Rutland, VT. She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Montgomery. Marie was the widow of the late Harry J. Mills, Sr.
Marie is survived by her sons Michael T. Mills (Jennifer) of Sarasota, Fl, and Harry J. Mills, Jr. (Jennifer) of Montgomery; daughter, Marie E. Pruschki (Steven) of Walden; sister, Judith Carroll of Campbell Hall; grandchildren: Marisa, Joseph, Craig, Jennifer, Stefani, Lara, Tyler, Sarah, and Shae; 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters: Gertrude Amodio, Ruth Iacuniano, and Barbara Mangione.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16 at the Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Montgomery. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
